Traffic service information
Register to create an account. Once registered, your account page will show various options to customise your traffic report.
In order to access traffic reports and receive traffic URLs by SMS you should have an active account.
The subscription fee for the traffic service is R5 per calendar week (Monday through Sunday). This fee will be charged to the registered subscriber's cell phone account after 12:00 AM on Monday morning each week. Subscribers will only be billed a week after registering, the service is free for the first week after registration.
If you have no funds available, your account will remain active, but temporarily won't have access to traffic reports.
Various features are available to build your customised traffic report. You can choose from predefined major routes, add additional suburbs (including surrounding areas) and define your own daily routes. If your account is active, you can view traffic reports when logged into your account or by using the day-pass link received every morning via SMS.
Another exciting feature is the ability to generate on the fly traffic reports of areas that are not part of your traffic report. You can search for traffic incidents by suburb (including surrounding suburbs); or if you are a Vodacom or MTN customer we shall locate you and determine if there are any traffic incidents near you.
